About Donating to the Contra Costa Master Gardeners

Since 1983, the Contra Costa Master Gardeners have worked tirelessly to fulfill our vision of

Healthy plants and gardens;
Healthy people; and
Healthy communities for the residents of Contra Costa County.

Your generous donation provides funding for our many public outreach and educational activities throughout the year including our “Ask a Master Gardener” phone help line, distributing University of California published information, consulting with local school gardens, and staffing information tables at farmers markets.

In addition, we provide training at community gardens and local libraries on a wide-range of topics including pest identification and management, water conservation, proper pruning techniques, and growing edibles, just to name a few. These activities are accomplished through your financial support and the nearly 200 volunteers; your friends and neighbors that are the Contra Costa Master Gardeners.

All gifts are tax-deductible as prescribed by law. The information you provide will be used for University business and will not be released unless required by law.
