The Contra Costa County Fair - Thursday, May 29 through Sunday, June 1, 2008

The Contra Costa Master Gardeners will staff a booth in the Flower Building during regular Fair hours. We will hand out brochures dealing with good gardening practices and Integrated Pest Management. We don't answer questions on the spot; we take down information on a question sheet. The question sheets are taken to the Master Gardener office to be researched and answered by the master gardeners who work the help desk.

Regular Appearances

Contra Costa County Farmers Markets Contra Costa Master Gardeners participate in as many farmers markets as our resources allow. We have information handouts and will answer home, garden, landscape, and turf questions from the general public.

Look for us when you visit the farmers market. Here are the ones where we are most active.

Brentwood Farmer's Market - every Saturday from May 10 through October 25, 2008 - 8 am to 12 noon

First Street between Oak and Chestnut

Concord Farmer's Market -

Tuesday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Year-round
Thursday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM from May 1, 2008 to October 30, 2008

Todos Santos Park, Willow Pass & Grant Street

San Ramon Farmer's Market - every Saturday from May 3 through October 25, 2008 - 9 am to 1 pm

Forest Home Farms located at 19953 San Ramon Valley Blvd, San Ramon.
