Did you enjoy last year's winter event: In Our Own Backyard; Celebrating Fresh, Sustainable Local Food? Well, you're in for a treat, because it was such a success, we're repeating and expanding the event with all new speakers and information on February 8, 2014! And, best of all, 2014 registration is now open!
In other news, we're gearing up for the 2014 gardening season, and have already scheduled several library talks in late winter and early spring. Come see us!
Thank you to 850+ Contra Costa gardeners for joining us at our 30th Anniversary Sustainability Fair, and a big thank you, too, to all our Sustainability Partners who staffed information tables. If you wanted to attend but didn't have time, the 2013 Sustainability Fair page has links to handouts and other sustainability partners' websites.
In other news, UC Cooperative Extension, our parent organization, will be celebrating its Centennial in 2014! Happy 100 years, UCCE!!
